This 14-day tour is ideal for the more daring of spirit – offering you a chance to see the best of Sri Lanka’s land and aquatic wildlife with a bit of exciting adrenaline filled white water rafting, and treks through a range of stunning natural settings.

Beginning in the seaside town of Negombo, the tour will take you northwards into the recently reopened Wilpattu National Park where you will get your first experience of a Sri Lankan campsite at the edge of the wilderness. Your first game drive begins here where professional experienced naturalists and trackers will accompany you throughout your adventures and give you their unique insights into the daily routines of the wildlife. The thrill of being this close to wild animals gives this tour a definite edge over the conventional.

From here, you will head up through the country’s cultural triangle towards Minneriya where herds of elephants gather, and then up towards the hill capital of Kandy with all its splendour and history. Your adventure truly begins from here on as you descend towards the magical Sinharaja Rainforest via the adventure hotspot of Kithulgala where you will receive a comprehensive introduction to the adrenaline-fueled world of white water rafting.

At Sinharaja, prepare to be amazed by the sheer volume of endemic flora and fauna as you trek with your personal naturalist guide through the natural beauty of one of the world’s best-preserved pre-continental shift lowland rainforests.
